MB Bardowick’s EPC powder coating machine is designed for powder coating of cables, hoses and profiles up to a maximum diameter of 150 mm and line speeds of up to 1,500 m/min. Our filter cleaning system ensures 100% freedom from dust in the machine environment of the powdering machine.

The application of talc and other powders as release agents between the individual layers of the cable is not a trivial task nowadays. The highest quality requirements of end customers and increasing production speeds also place high demands on cable powdering. We successfully meet these challenges alongside our customers!

Overview of the features of the cable powdering machine

Uniform powdering of your cable is guaranteed by the electrostatic charging of the powder with up to 100 kV, even at very high product speeds of up to 1500 m/min.

Our filter cleaning system ensures a dust-free production site; contamination from escaping powder is a thing of the past. The basic frame is a robust, powder-coated welded construction, which is manufactured in-house.

Many individual extensions for the powder coating line

We customize each powder coating machine to your individual needs and requirements. Thus, you get the best possible machine for your production. Possible options include:

  • Powder application control in the powder machine to ensure the quality of your product
  • Individual adaptation of the coating chamber depending on the task at hand
  • Fast, tool-free height adjustment of the coating chamber for optimum adaptation to different product center heights
  • In case of difficult space conditions, the free-standing coating chamber is set apart from the basic machine.
  • Fine metering for the application of smallest amounts of powder on the product for cable powdering
  • For automatic refilling of the powder coating machine directly from the powder bag, there is a separate refill container
  • Communication of the powder coating machine with a higher-level line control possible with many industrial fieldbus systems
  • Can also be used for graphite in conjunction with a polishing station
