Maschinenbau Bardowick GmbH

Our company development up to today's Maschinenbau Bardowick GmbH

As part of the company succession, in the year 2002 Mr. Peter Albrecht and Mr. Michael Himmelmann acquire shares of the former Deckert Maschinenbau GmbH. In the following years the positive development in extrusion downstream equipment and as well as a continuous growth in the production of welded assemblies required the expansion of our production. The current development of the company and the integration of the acquisition of a subcontracting plant in Walcz/PL in 2007 made it possible to meet these requirements. The IMW Inzynieria Maszyn Wałcz Sp.z o.o is a 100% subsidiary and up today a supplier for highly qualified welding technology.

In 2014, we were able to implement the participation of our long-time employee, Mr. Christoph Eidner. The long-term future planning of the company could thus be further secured and a goal-oriented succession plan prepared. Growing demands on our quality and flexibility, as well as the opportunity to settle in an optimal business location, led to the decision in 2015 to build a new optimized production facility in the industrial park “Wittorfer Heide” in Bardowick. At the beginning of 2020, Mr. Peter Albrecht will retire and hand over his position as Managing Director to Mr. Christoph Eidner in order to continue to successfully drive the company’s development in the future.
