Rotary cutter RC for precise cutting to length of hoses & profiles

The RC rotary cutters from Maschinenbau Bardowick GmbH (formerly DCM Maschinenbau GmbH Lüneburg) are precise cutting machines for hoses and profiles made of rubber or plastic. They can process diameters of up to 100 mm and line speeds of up to 300 m/min. Thanks to the servo cutter design with blade holder mounted directly on the motor shaft, clean cutting quality and minimized length tolerances are achieved.

Overview of the features of the cutting machine

Due to the cam application developed in our company for the automatic cut-to-length machine, the motion profile of the cutting blade is continuously calculated and adjusted to the product speed. The optimum cutting speed for the product can be selected independently of the product speed.

The blade change is quick and safe.

The basic frame is a robust, powder-coated welded construction, which is manufactured in-house.
